3-6 December Burghley house hosts the Rural Crafts Crafts for Christmas Fair in a huge marquee in front of the house alongside the Burghley Christmas Fine Food Market with local produce available to purchase and the Christmas Sale in the Gift Shop.  Parking is free and admission to the Fine Food Market and Gift Shop are free.  Admission charges to the Rural Crafts Marquee apply.

Please note that the House and Gardens are closed from 29th October 2009 to 20th March 2010.  The parkland remains open daily from 8am to 6pm free of charge.
