Rob restoring William Cecil's tomb in St Martin's Church, Stamford

As a sculptor Rob’s work has developed from geometric and natural patterns and themes. From maquettes to stone, bronze and steel sculpture, he is interested in the the concept of symmetry and the geometry of sculpture. For more information on Rob's work please visit www.robfogell.co.uk

 

Rob Fogell trained as a Sculpture Conservator working on classical sculpture, modern stone sculpture and allied materials in public and private collections all over the country.  Clients include The British Museum, The V&A Museum, English Heritage, National Trust and private clients and he works with ancient and historical sculpture from the Greek collections to modern forms which help to shape his current work.

Rob gained a Cert Ed from Warwick University between 1995/97, which started his career in education.  He now teachs specialist workshops in carving, clay modelling and plaster construction at Burghley House and New College Stamford.
