Mike & Chris Cowell:Burghley Fine Art Conservation Ltd.

Following Post-Graduate training at the Courtauld Institute of Art, studying the conservation of paintings, Mike established a studio in Derbyshire where he worked for museums across the Midlands, as well as for private clients and churches.

Since re-locating to Burghley House in 1987 he has been responsible for the restoration of a significant proportion of the outstanding collection of paintings and their frames. On a larger scale Mike has also undertaken the conservation and restoration of the famous painted ceilings and rooms at Burghley House.
