The Burghley Estate has a full time staff of over 30 people who have a range of skills such as Collyweston Slate roofers, joiners, painters, foresters, gardeners, and gamekeepers. Burghley also uses a number of local contractors who provide building, electrical and plumbing services.
A dedicated team of staff with a passion for heritage make sure Burghley House and the other estate buildings are in the best condition for future generations to enjoy. Burghley House demands constant maintenance, as do all the buildings on the estate, many of which are listed. Our Estate Office is dedicated to upholding this heritage in the best possible condition whilst providing homes, offices and businesses with pleasant, well maintained and modern premises.
