The Burghley Wedding & Reception

£142 + VAT per person (80-110 guests)

You arrive for your wedding ceremony in the awe inspiring Great Hall or elegant Orangery followed by drinks and canapés in the Rose Garden surrounded by fragrant roses and lavender or in the Old Kitchen amongst the historic copper. Your guests can enjoy a tour of the State Rooms* at Burghley whilst you spend time getting those perfect wedding photos.

A delicious three course wedding breakfast with fine wines follows in the Great Hall or Orangery. A table plan, menus and place cards are provided in a choice of designs.

Your evening reception continues in the Orangery where guests are welcome to dance the night away and enjoy access to the beautiful floodlit Rose Garden.

This package is based on 8 hours finishing no later than 12am. It is possible to extend your evening reception further into the evening (max 12am) but a supplement charge of £150+VAT per hour is payable.

The Burghley Reception

£134 + VAT per person (80-110 guests)

Following your Church service you arrive at Burghley to be greeted with drinks and canapés in a choice of stunning locations. There are ample opportunities for wonderful wedding photos and you and your guests can enjoy a tour of Burghley’s magnificent State Rooms*.

A sumptuous 3 course wedding breakfast with fine wines is served in either the historic Great Hall or the elegant Orangery. A table plan, menus and place cards are provided in a choice of designs.

Following your speeches and the cutting of the cake you are invited to move through to the Orangery for your evening reception where you and your guests can dance the night away and enjoy access to the beautiful Rose Garden.

This package is based on 7 hours finishing no later than 12am. It is possible to extend your evening reception further into the evening (max 12am) but a supplement charge of £150+VAT per hour is payable.

The Great Hall Reception
£129 + VAT per person (80-110 guests)

After your late afternoon wedding ceremony, held in Stamford or the local area, you arrive at Burghley for photos, drinks and canapés in the scenic Rose Garden or historic Old Kitchen.

A sumptuous 3 course wedding breakfast with accompanying fine wines is served in the stunning Great Hall where your guests can enjoy the beauty of Burghley. All the little extras like your table plan, menus and place cards are taken care of allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy the speeches.

After coffee your guests can move through to the Orangery where your evening celebrations continue with a disco or band of your choice until your carriage arrives at midnight.

Available Saturday to Thursday March to October, from 6pm until Midnight.

The Orangery Reception
£122 + VAT per person (60-80 guests)

After your late afternoon wedding ceremony, held in Stamford or the local area, you arrive at Burghley for photos, drinks and canapés in the picturesque Rose Garden or historic Old Kitchen.

A relaxed 3 course wedding breakfast with accompanying wines is served in the elegant Orangery overlooking the Rose Garden and parkland beyond. Table plans, menus and place cards are provided in a choice of designs.

Following the speeches guests are welcome to sit back and enjoy coffee, and maybe a slice of wedding cake, in the beautiful Rose Garden or Capability Brown designed Orangery until your carriages arrive to whisk you home.

Available Saturday to Thursday March to October, from 6pm until Midnight.

The Summerhouse Wedding
£96 + VAT per person (based on 20 people)

Ideal for a more intimate ceremony, the Summerhouse sits nestled in Burghley's private south gardens with fantastic views of the lake and the rolling parkland beyond.

Your guests are invited to walk the scenic path through the gardens and take their seats in the beautiful Capability Brown designed Summerhouse to await the arrival of the bride and groom.

Your ceremony takes place overlooking the lake with the doors of the Summerhouse thrown open to welcome in the bird song and summer air.

Following your ceremony you and your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés in the surrounding gardens which also provide stunning locations for your wedding photographs.

The Summerhouse package includes; use of the Summerhouse for your wedding ceremony, 2 flower arrangements by our recommended florist, 1 hour reception to include drinks and 3 canapés per person, use of the surrounding gardens for your wedding photographs, a dedicated wedding coordinator and designated guest parking.

Your Summerhouse wedding takes 3 hours with a finish no later than 4pm. Some areas of the gardens may be restricted.
