Opening Dates
The House is open daily (excluding Fridays) from 16 March until 3 November 2024. Gardens and Adventure Play are open daily from 16 March until 3 November and then weekends only until 24 November.
Our Restaurant, Café and Shops are open throughout the year – days and times do vary, so please check before your visit.
The Parkland is open year round.
Planned Closures | The House, Gardens, Play and all visitor facilities are closed for the duration of the Defender Burghley Horse Trials 5 to 8 September 2024. The House will be closed from 14 to 23 September and the Orangery Restaurant from 18 to 21 September 2024 due to filming.
Burghley House, Gardens and Adventure Play close for essential upkeep, maintenance and conservation during winter months. The Gardens and Adventure Play reopen on 15 February 2025 and the House reopens on 15 March 2025.
