We are delighted to welcome your group to Burghley throughtout the open season. Good Friday 21st March to Thursday 30th October 2008 daily (except Fridays) from 11am to 4.30pm.

The House will be open for viewing with guides in the rooms to answer any questions that your guests may have. You are welcome to spend as long as you wish in the State Rooms.

Guided Tours

Guided tours can be arranged on request at 10.30am or 3.30pm Monday to Thursday. Specialist interest and out of hours (including evening and Friday for specialist groups only) tours can be booked, please call Hannah Matthews on 01780 752451 extension 171 and I can tailor make a tour to suit your requirements.

The Private Apartments

Burghley is a living family, home Miranda Rock and family live on the ground floor of this wonderful house. Their apartments are not open to the public, however if you have a wish to see a certain item from the collections please contact our Curator Jon Culverhouse by post.

Booking

Booking is essential for all groups. Please print off the Group Booking Form PDF and send it to Hannah Matthews, Group Bookings Co-ordinator, Burghley House, Stamford, PE9 3JY. Alternatively please call me on 01780 752451 extension 171 and all arrangements can be made over the phone. I will then forward you a confirmation letter with all details of your visit.

Catering

Andrew and Robert Reid are delighted to welcome you to The Orangery at Burghley. The Orangery is open daily (except Fridays) throughout the open season from 10am to 6pm / Pre-booked menus are available for groups if you would like a served lunch or dinner in the Loggia area of the restaurant. Prices

The group admission price for 2008 is £9.00 per person including admission to the State Rooms, parkland and Gardens of Suprise. Your coach driver is welcome to enter and eat for free.
