We are looking for a full time Finance Assistant to join our busy finance team at Burghley. The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the accounts for small Burghley charities and companies. This includes processing sales and purchase invoices and payments, various reconciliation work and assisting with audit file and accounts preparation. The role requires working closely with the finance team members and assisting in other areas of the teams’ responsibilities with ad hoc requests as and when required.

Main duties will include, working with the Education Officers to prepare and deliver art and / or history sessions for organised school groups and families within Burghley House and Gardens. You will be in direct contact with students and teachers and children and their families in the course of preparing and delivering the appropriate content.
You will need to have experience of working with children and have relevant experience delivering non classroom based educational sessions (ideally in a heritage setting). You will need to be enthusiastic, passionate about the subject matter and delivering high quality learning experiences for children and students of all ages. You will need to be organised, be calm when working under pressure and be flexible and adaptable.
Hours will vary week by week but will be approximately 8 hours per week in summer, less in winter and rotas will be agreed in advance. Working hours will usually be between 9.30am and 3pm but these may be flexible.

We are looking for a flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic Chef / Cook to join our team at Burghley Park Golf Club.
Candidates will need to be able to work off own initiative. This role includes the preparation, cooking of meals, and serving food.
Experience in using tills desirable.
You will also cover for the Chef on their days off and when on holiday, as well as additional support as required for functions. Previous Chef/Cooking experience is essential.
Hourly rate £9-11.50/hour dependent on experience.
