The Burghley Christmas Fair and The Angel Fair joined forces four years ago, to raise money for the wonderful Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice is the only specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Peterborough. They provide care and support for people who are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families. The Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on the hospice. All its shops closed overnight and fundraising activities had to stop immediately. This resulted in a deeply concerning drop in income and for the very first time the charity’s future was in doubt.
More information about Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall and the full impact of 2020 is detailed in the following Just giving page. If you have enjoyed our online Christmas Fair and are able to do so, any donations would be gratefully received to insure Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall is here to offer it’s support and care in the future - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/burghley-house-online-christmas-fair
